Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No for solo use. Tap Continue as guest and start adding dogs. If you start or join a Family Pack on iOS, the app creates an anonymous account for sync only — no email or password.
Is my data backed up to the cloud?
Only if you opt into Family Pack sync on iOS. Solo mode keeps everything on your device. Pack activity is stored in the cloud for 7 days so your household can share a feed, then automatically deleted.
What is a Pack Leader vs Pack Mate?
The person who starts the pack is the Pack Leader. They manage dog names, reminder intervals, and the invite code. Pack Mates can log activities and view the feed but cannot change those settings.
How do invite codes work?
The Pack Leader shares a code from Profile. Pack Mates enter it under Join Pack. Codes can be regenerated if needed.
How do overdue notifications work?
Open the Profile tab and configure notification preferences. The app schedules local alerts on your device when a dog may be overdue for a bathroom break. You can adjust timing and quiet hours in settings.
Why does the app show ads?
The iOS app displays small banner ads on the Dogs and Feed tabs to support free development.
How do I share a bathroom log?
After logging a bathroom break, use the share option. Your phone’s share sheet opens so you can send an update via Messages, WhatsApp, email, or another app.
How do I delete a dog?
Open the dog’s card on the Dogs tab and use the delete option. This removes the dog and its associated logs from your device.
Is Android available?
